International Graduate Course for Continuing Professional Development

Nagaoka University of Technology introduce the graduate course, “International Graduate Course for Continuing Professional Development” which is offered for researchers and engineers from developing countries to provide the opportunity of advanced study, research and experience in engineering fields so that they can contribute to the industrial development of their countries.

The University will nominate 10 master’s students and 10 doctoral students for 2017 Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship out of successful candidates from this course who meet the conditions of nomination for the Japanese Government Scholarship.

All Programs for this course are conducted in English. The Application deadline is on October 7, 2016.

EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE) Programme announces opening for Second Batch of Scholarships on 1 September 2016

Jakarta, 8 August 2016 – As student mobility plays an important role in the further development of higher education in ASEAN, the European Union (EU) and ASEAN have teamed up to announce today the opening of their second batch of scholarship for January-July 2017 intake. Undergraduate students in ASEAN countries interested in studying one semester in another ASEAN country are invited to apply for one of the 125 full scholarships available.

The scholarship scheme is part of the work of the "EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region, or SHARE, designed to encourage ASEAN student mobility and to test the application of an ASEAN-wide credit transfer systems.

“This special partnership with the European Union allows us to empower talented students, to pursue their chosen careers, and exchange invaluable insights and experience. An effective regional higher education system centred on an ASEAN scholarship scheme for students is a key element in promoting people connectivity and supports integration efforts in ASEAN,"said H.E. Mr. Vongthep Arthakaivalvatee, ASEAN Deputy Secretary-General for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community.

IPB dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat telah lama menjalin kerjasama terutama pada bidang pendidikan dengan pengiriman putra/i terbaik di Kabupaten Bengkayang untuk menempuh pendidikan Sarjana melalui jalur Beasiswa Utusan Daerah (BUD) sejak tahun 2007 hingga tahun 2016. Dalam rangka kelanjutan kerjasama tersebut, pada hari Jumat, 29 Juli 2016 bertempat di Ruang Rapat Biro Umum Lantai 1, Kampus IPB Dramaga, IPB menerima kunjungan dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkayang yang terdiri atas Bupati Bengkayang Suryadman Gidot, Kepala Dinas Pertanian Yonathan Peno, Kepala Bappeda Obaja, SE, Wakil Ketua DPRD Yosua Sugara dan staf Pemda Kabupaten Bengkayang.
